Arthur Hartman Obituary (2024) – In the early morning hours of March 4, 2024, Arthur Hartman, who resided in Bunker Hill, West Virginia, passed away in a calm and tranquil manner at his residence. Following Arthur’s passing, his family and friends are grieving the loss of a much-loved member of their community within their community.
Arthur spent his childhood in Burlington, West Virginia, where he was surrounded by his family and friends. He was born and raised there. After receiving his diploma from Keyser High School in 1963, he promptly enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country. Immediately following his discharge from the military, Arthur started working for a phone company, where he devoted himself to his work and formed a large number of friendships that would last a lifetime.
At his residence in Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Arthur passed away in a calm and peaceful manner. The exact cause of death has not been determined as of yet; however, the knowledge that he passed away surrounded by the love of his family and the comfort of his home provides his loved ones with some measure of comfort.
On Thursday, March 7, 2024, friends and members of the community will have the opportunity to pay their respects to Arthur at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel. This event will take place. The hours of visitation will be from eleven in the morning until two in the afternoon. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., immediately following the visitation, and Pastor Kelly Day and Pastor Chip Crawford will preside over the ceremony.
The Hartman Cemetery in Burlington, West Virginia, the town in which Arthur spent his formative years, will be the location where he will be laid to rest afterwards. For the purpose of paying a final tribute to his life, Arthur will take his final ride home in his cherished 1979 F-250 truck. This truck is a representation of the memories and experiences that he cherished throughout his entire life.
